Abby excellent tips as always!! A giveaway space is so perfect. We used to have a box where my daughter and me would dump all the things we thought needed a new home. Placing the first item in that box was always the toughest move … Once we got in the mood however, it was difficult to stop. Self storage facility can help make your move easier by providing you a safe, secure place to stash away your items till you are ready for them. Stop by our channel on some self storage tips !!

This is a great technique. Another option which is particularly useful is to store items that you need for a project in a mini storage unit until you are ready to use them. This allows you to avoid excess clutter during the initial moving process.

Just a thought. Why don’t you give things away or return items BEFORE you move. It would save carting them to your new place
